I offer private classical piano lessons in students' homes in Toronto, drawing on my training and international performance experience. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual goals, combining technical development, musical understanding, and expressive interpretation.
Whether you're preparing for an examination, audition, or competition, or simply looking to develop your playing, I aim to provide a supportive and focused environment in which you can grow as a musician.
I welcome pianists of all ages and abilities, with a particular interest in working with intermediate and advanced students who want to deepen their musicianship and refine their performance skills.
Lessons can be tailored to your goals, including:
Technique and musicianship — developing a secure technique, effective practice habits, and a deeper understanding of the music.
Repertoire and interpretation — exploring musical ideas, stylistic awareness, and expressive individuality.
Auditions and competitions — focused preparation for auditions, competitions, and other performance opportunities.
Performance preparation — building confidence, developing effective preparation strategies, and learning to communicate through music.
As a performing pianist, I believe that technical development and musical expression go hand in hand. I encourage students to develop not only confidence at the keyboard, but also independence, curiosity, and their own musical voice.
My teaching is informed by my piano studies in Melbourne, Vienna, and Toronto, as well as my experience performing internationally. I aim to meet each student where they are and help them work towards their individual goals.
